2. Chemical Cost
Annual Cost = (Pool Volume ÷ 1,000) × chemical_rate × 12 months
Rates: Chlorine $1.00, Saltwater $0.60, Mineral/Ozone $0.75 per 1,000 gal/month
3. Water Replacement Cost
Surface Area (ft²) = Pool Volume ÷ 5 ft avg depth
Annual Loss (gal) = SA × 1.5 in/wk × 0.6234 gal/ft²/in × 52 wks × 1.10 (backwash)

4. Equipment Depreciation
Annual Cost = Σ (Replacement Cost ÷ Lifespan) × Age Factor
